Czech Republic - National program

L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program has been launched in the Czech Republic in 2006. The program is run in cooperation with the Czech Commission for UNESCO and with Academy of Sciences in the Czech Republic. The purpose of the program is to put a spotlight on promising women in science as role models to inspire more excellent women to have a career in science and to promote equality in Czech research. Since the launch, 47 promising scientists have become part of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science network.
